We need help to get our dream off the ground. We're creating Suffolk's first edible forest garden, full of fruit trees, herbs and berries!

by Dandelion Farm in Bury Saint Edmunds, England, United Kingdom

We have been given the opportunity to transform part of a 24 acre site in Suffolk into an abundant and diverse edible landscape to both support and increase wildlife and support human health.

The plan is to plant as many fruit trees, berries, medicinal herbs and perennial plants as possible.

We are following the framework of a forest garden and believe this will be the first larger scale forest garden in Suffolk (that we know of!).

We would appreciate any donation you can afford and all the money will go directly towards buying plants, primarily the fruit trees.

Thank you,

Wesley and Aurélie.

A Forest Garden is a designed agronomic system based on trees, shrubs and perennial plants. These are mixed in such a way as to mimic the structure of a natural forest – the most stable and sustainable type of ecosystem in this climate.
