I live by the Dart Estuary and enjoy all forms of water sport on the River. At our local club (SGBA) I help teach Dinghy Sailing to young and old students. We want to be safe on the water and can control most of the risks but we could be seriously impacted by human waste in the water.
When Hannah Pearson started Friends of the Dart to campaign for the health of the whole river I supported her efforts from the start. We have achieved bathing water status for Stoke Gabriel and three other locations on the Estuary but much needs to be done.
Team Friends of the Dart are doing a sponsored paddle for pollution resolution. Please support us if you can. Money raised will go towards covering the cost of water quality testing year round d at 7 sites on the river. Thank you
