Friends of Grove Park community picnic event

For the last two years, Friends of Grove Park have put on a popular and much loved community picnic event with music in the bandstand and family friendly craft events. This was attended by over 600 people last year, the event brings the community together and raises the profile of the volunteering work we do to maintain the park and combat loneliness and social isolation through our well-being activities. We rely on funding to keep this event free to attend so that it is inclusive to a wide range of people. Unfortunately, we have been unable to secure funding this year to put the event on, so we are setting up this fundraiser to pay for some of the essentials things we need to put this on, such as first aiders and other activities.
