About us
The Friends of Ashperton - a passionate PTA group dedicated to supporting the needs of the pupils of Ashperton Primary Academy, Herefordshire.
The charity's aim is to raise funds to enhance the learning experience as well as extra curricular activities for all children of Ashperton Primary.
Our achievements
Thanks to our past fundraising events such as the Summer Fete, the Christmas Fair, Quiz Night, Bonfire and our School Campout - we have funded new iPads, wildlife cameras, magazine subscriptions, a science dome and also made substantial contributions towards the annual school Panto trip, Young Voices and the London outing.
By hosting these wonderful events, we not only raise essential funds to enhance the children's experience at Ashperton, we also foster a closer-knit school community, providing children and their families with opportunities to create lasting memories.

Our plans for the coming years...
Back to Nature - One of our main goals for the coming years will be supporting outdoor learning. An effective way of boosting mental health and wellbeing as well as promoting environmental awareness amongst our children.
Raised funds will go towards enhancing our original crowdfunder project 'Hideout Hut' and our wish list for the children. This includes a pizza oven, a vegetable patch, and any other nature- and outdoor-related educational opportunities, as well as safe & weatherproof storage for additional Hideout Hut equipment and Friends’ events equipment.

Offering the children of Ashperton the opportunity to spend more quality time outdoors. Improving their physical and mental wellbeing by reducing stress and anxiety, giving them a better understanding of the environment and hopefully inspiring a love for nature.
