Mytho-Poetic Roundhouse Temple: Arts, Land & Heal

Aim: We are creating a mytho-poetic roundhouse temple: an off-grid, land-based sanctuary for music, arts, healing, and community regeneration.

I’m MegAwen — a bard, singer, visionary arts director, poet, and healer. I’ve spent years travelling, living in land-based communities, guiding ritual, and weaving music, story, and soul into the fabric of life. I create spaces where we remember: how to gather, how to listen, how to create beauty that nourishes and regenerates.

Now, I’m calling in a sacred land project — a mytho-poetic roundhouse temple for the rebirth of culture and community.

This will be a hand-built, off-grid sanctuary for the arts, healing, and deep connection with the Earth. Rooted in nature and inspired by ancient traditions, it will serve as:

• A live music and ritual space

• A dance floor and movement temple

• A gallery of sacred arts

• A gathering hub for storytelling, permaculture, and embodiment

• A space for artist residencies, community roles, and seasonal retreats

• A sacred water site — with hot tub and cold plunge for ritual bathing and hydrotherapy

We are raising £350,000 to:

• Secure a piece of wild land in the UK — ideally with ancient trees, spring water, and room for gardens and sacred structures

• Build the main roundhouse temple and supporting structures using natural materials

• Create a healing landscape with food forests, fire circles, and elemental spaces

• Launch a programme of immersive gatherings, teachings, and ceremonies

The heart of this project is to honour the Earth and empower individuals to step into their unique dharma — their path, gift, or medicine. This space will offer people the opportunity to live and serve on the land, to offer their skills, to co-create something lasting.

We’ll offer opportunities for:

• Artists-in-residence

• Visionary leaders

• Cooks, gardeners, craftspeople, movement guides

• Elders and youth, dreamers and builders

This isn’t a retreat centre owned by a few — it’s a living prayer built by many. A temple for the people, made of mud, music, and meaning.
