Hi we are part of your community and we want to share with you a new initiative that we are excited about and I hope you will be too.
It’s called Little Free Library and we thought with so many free books being offered by our community we might centralise that effort.
A Little Free Library is a community that actively implements strategies to promote reading and writing. We want to create a neighbourhood that gets to know each other and shares an interest in books, reading, learning, and helping children read. You can help! There are many ways you can help in this effort to create a Little Free Library which we shall detail if successful.
To start, we are seeking to purchase a Free Library and that is where we are after your help.
Reading is one of the most important things we can do to ensure a happy, successful life. Kids are especially affected, with books at home significantly increasing a child’s level of education. I hope you’ll take this journey with us.
