Frank Newbon's Outdoor Gym

For a few years now, the site of the old bowling green on The Recreation Ground has sat empty and under lock and key. The land was originally put aside by the Marquis of Exeter for "the pleasure and enjoyment of the people of Stamford"..... (after a year or so of talks with The Town Council, and COVID interuptions) I've finally got the permission to build an outdoor gymnasium there, free to use for you all to enjoy. Let's all try and put some of that pleasure and enjoyment back on The Rec, a few quid for a lifetime membership to Frank's Gym? Can't be bad... Dig deep you Newboneers and Stamford locals and let's all make a bit of modern history... all donations most gratefully received..
