Foundation and KS1 Outdoor Space

Over the summer holidays we'll be building a new outdoor space for KS1 and extending the space for Foundation.  The new KS1 space will run from Cherry classroom down to Cedar.  There will be a learning area at one end with tables and black boards and a sensory area at the other end with natural planting and space to dig.  The area will have raised beds so the children are able to grow seeds and plants and there will be multi-purpose zone in the middle of the area for a range of activities, for example sport and games, science experiments or reading together as a group.   This space will support the children's learning and their wellbeing.
