Summer Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to Friends of Saltaire Primary School (FOSPS) Summer Prize Draw 2024

It is your responsibility to read these terms and conditions before entering into this prize draw. FOSPS is a registered charity (number 518646) run by volunteers. All income raised from this prize draw will go to FOSPS.

Entering the Prize Draw

Prize draw entries are not to be sold to, sold by, or bought on behalf of anyone under 18 years of age. Any entry bought by or on behalf of somebody under the age of 18 will be rejected from the draw.

Friends of Saltaire Primary School Committee Officers, immediate family of such persons, prize draw organisers, the Head Teacher of Saltaire Primary School and companies who are connected with the draw are unable to enter the prize draw. 

Participation in this prize draw is through Crowdfunder at a cost of 2.4% of money raised and 20p per transaction.

The receipt from Crowdfunder is the acknowledgement that the prize draw has been entered, you will not receive a ticket from FOSPS.

Please include the name, email address and phone number of the person entering the prize draw. Each postcard entrant will have one entry into the prize draw. Postcard entries must be received before 23:59 on Monday 24th June 2024. The postage should be fully paid, using stand first or second class post, to be eligible for the prize draw. Entries through the post will not receive a receipt.

The prize draw is open to mainland Great Britain only (Wales, Scotland and England) and excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands.

Payment for participation in the prize draw is through Crowdfunder only. No other form of payment can be accepted.

The FOSPS accept no responsibility for prize draw entries which are lost or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted. 

The FOSPS accepts no responsibility if the chosen method of payment is cancelled in error.

Any prize draw monies received after the closing date will be treated as a donation to FOSPS and the entry will not be part of the draw.

FOSPS reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.

The Prize Draw

There is no obligation to make a donation FOSPS to be eligible to win in this prize draw – but your donation will be much appreciated.

The Prize Draw runs from 18:00 on Monday 10th June 2024 and closes at 23:59 on Sunday 30th June 2024. The names of the winners to the prize draw will be drawn from the supporter’s details data provided by Crowdfunder on Monday 1st July 2024.

Paid entries to the Prize Draw are through the fundraising platform Crowdfunder.

Prize draw entries received by postcard will be manually entered into Crowdfunder’s supporter’s details database.

The prize winners will be randomly selected by Crowdfunder on the draw date. The first entry drawn will win the first prize, the second entry drawn will win the second prize, and this will continue until all the prizes have been won.

The result of the prize draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into about the prize draw process and results.

Winners’ names will be published on Wednesday 3rd July by 20:00 on the Friends of Saltaire Primary Facebook page and crowdfunder page no later than 7 days of the draw taking place. If you do not wish to have your name published on The FOSPS Facebook page, please choose the privacy option when entering the prize draw through Crowdfunder.

Winners will be notified by FOSPS by email no later than 1 week after the draw date. Winners will be given instructions on how to claim their prize in the same email. Prizes will need to be collected from Saltaire Primary School during school hours 9am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday between Wednesday 3rd July and Friday 19th July. No prizes can be delivered in the post. Local Saltaire collection only. Any prizes not collected in this time will be donated to future prizes. 

If no contact is made by the winner with FOSPS (via email) or the school by Friday 19th July 2024 the prize may be forfeit.

Non-cash prizes are subject to the prize suppliers’ terms and conditions, and any complaints or queries relating to the condition or use of the prize should be directed to the relevant supplier of the prize. Prizes given may differ from pictures, where possible we have included a picture of the exact prize.
