Inclusive Escapes is made up of Mark Sidney, Rachel Jones-Wild, and Autumn Aldous. As experienced mindfulness practitioners, we bring a wealth of experience in attending and running day retreats and residential retreats. Through our partner organisations—Mindful Impact, Mindful Therapies, and HowUK—we are committed to providing transformative courses, workshops, retreats, and mindfulness interventions.
Our vision is to make the benefits of the retreat experience accessible to all, not just those who can afford it. We recognise that many people face barriers to accessing retreats: caring responsibilities, trauma and mental health difficulties, and financial constraints. Traditional mindfulness practices can be triggering, and the cost of retreats can be prohibitive for many.
In this project we aim to break down these barriers by offering a unique mindfulness forest school day retreat for 20 single parents and their children. This retreat will provide a safe and supportive environment for participants to connect with themselves, nature, and each other. The money we raise will be used to cover the costs of the retreat, ensuring that financial limitations do not prevent anyone from experiencing the transformative power of mindfulness and nature. Help us create an inclusive space where everyone can benefit from the healing and rejuvenating effects of a mindfulness retreat.
