To raise funds to build a new version of the Freeminers Red grade MTB trail at the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre
by Dean Trail Volunteers in Coleford, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom
On the 22nd May 2024 we'd raised £20 with 1 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Dean Trail Volunteers are an independent group of riders from all disciplines and backgrounds, working in partnership with Forestry England to develop and maintain the official mountain bike trails in the Forest of Dean.
Our aim with this fundraiser is to build a new Freeminers Red Grade trail for locals and visitors alike, and to positively promote mountain biking in the area. You may have seen the awesome new Red Skills area that has been built collaboratively with YT, Forestry England and Dean Trail Volunteers, for progression and confident skills building.
We depend on support and generous donations from the MTB community to enable us to continue developing and maintaining the trails. From spades to stone to pens and paper, all the money raised helps to pay for everything that we need to get the job done.
We will be putting all the funds raised into the new development of the Freeminers Red Trail at the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre. This helps pay for specialist machines and contractors when needed, as well as materials and tools for our team of volunteers.
There are two simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this new trail a reality.
