Hi, I’m Ra, and welcome to our dream!
My baking journey began at 17, turning a simple hobby into a deep passion. After losing my mum, life changed overnight. My little brother was only 7 years old at the time, and I suddenly found myself stepping into a new role—not just as a sister, but as his unofficial mum. Baking became my sanctuary—a way to cope, to show love, and to create joy in a time of deep grief.
Years later, I found myself working full-time as a travel agent—living the 9-to-5 like a zombie, completely disconnected from what I loved. I was struggling with depression and had lost sight of my own dreams.
Then one day, my partner Brian sat me down and asked me a simple but life-changing question:
“What do you really want from your life?”
That conversation changed everything.
Brian saw something in me that I couldn’t see in myself. He believed in me before I could believe in myself. He made my logo, created my Facebook page, and became my biggest cheerleader. Without him, none of this would be happening.
Now, with his unwavering support, we’re building something truly special: our own bakery in the heart of Gosport!
Thanks to an incredibly generous £3,000 donation from Simon Squibb, we’ve already taken some big steps forward. But we still have a long way to go. Like many small startups, we’re facing big expenses—construction, equipment, permits, and all the little things that quickly add up.
But this isn’t just about asking for donations—it’s about inviting you to be part of our story in a fun and rewarding way.
