The charity was founded as a result of my experience of discrimination and inequality faced by our immigrants families into uk. Tt was very difficult to fit in as faced with everyday harassments and violence against minority families; which is why this charity was formed to help families with similar experiences who might need help and support.
We have board of team who are experienced in different field working together to make the organization projects successful.
Family comfort NI has been known for its positive impact on the mental and social skill of women, children and young people in the grassroot local community; especially with those from the disadvantage families. We have been known to create equal opportunity for them not leaving anyone out due to race, colour, religion, belief and background. And we intend to proceed against all odds or challenges, to continue to be impactful with the resources made available to us. With the support of our volunteers and funders we have been privileged to support the youth in our community today.
The organization has worked closely and continue to work with families, volunteers, members, and other organizations in the community to support families with young people in the grassroot level; and ensure equal opportunity is given to all. We have organized series of events/ activities to echo our vision, which has contributed immensely to the improvement of the individual and the community at large. Our successful growth and strength could not have been made possible without the immensurable support of our Volunteers and Funders.
We exist to support children, young people and Women especially from BAME communities who are struggling and in crisis due to domestic violence, racial discrimination and inequality, financial hardship, ill-health& disability; especially for those whose health may or have been affected adversely or compromised by these factors.
We also advance the arts, education, culture, heritage or science among children and young people promoting equality, integration, diversity of culture, peace, workshops, seminars and events; and towards improving lives; and engage community development programmes.
The money would be used to fund the foodbank activities we have supporting families. It would be use to create a safe space where they can meet to learning creativities for employability / learning. a space to interact and socialise to support mental health.
