Aim: The Sponsored Colour Run is to raise funds for the Ninja Obstacle Course in the sports field to add to the great facilities at the school.
The colour run took place on Saturday 18th September from 2pm - 4pm and it was brilliant fun!
This year we are raising funds for our new Ninja Obstacle Course. The obstacles will be placed around the sports field so they can be used during playtimes or lessons / events as a challenge course.
The children’s enjoyment is paramount to this project however the benefits are also clear. Improving gross motor skills and hand grip strengthens muscles used for writing which in turn assists in developing and improving strength and stamina for handwriting. The health benefits of active play are clear.
