At Fisheries Management Scotland, we’re on a mission to protect Scotland’s rivers, lochs, and our native wild salmon and freshwater fish that call them home. Our incredible network of District Salmon Fishery Boards, the River Tweed Commission and charitable Rivers and Fisheries Trusts work tirelessly to keep our waterways thriving — from tearing down barriers so fish can swim freely, to planting trees along riverbanks and restoring natural river flows. 🌳🌊🐟
This year, we’re making a splash at RunBalmoral 2025! Three of our brave (and slightly competitive) team members — Brian, Leah, and Sean — are lacing up their trainers to take on the Balmoral 10k on 26th April. They'll be racing not just for bragging rights but also to raise vital funds to support one of our member organisations in their environmental work.
During our annual FMS Conference in March, we drew one of our members to receive the funds raised... and the winner was the Skye and Lochalsh Rivers Trust. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to them.
Here’s where YOU come in! Please donate to our page, to help us restore Scotland’s rivers.
Donations will be open until race day — 26th April — so dive in and support the cause today!🌍💚 Every bit helps bring us closer to healthier rivers, thriving fish populations, and a richer natural environment.
