Terms and conditions 

Anyone over the age of 18 can enter this prize draw.

There are multiple prizes to be one, each entry you make, including free entries, gives you one chance to win one of the prizes listed.

Entries are either made by donating on the crowdfunder website for this prize draw, hosted by Joanna Ferreday aka Penny Farthing, or by post if you wish to enter for free.

Types of entry

You can either choose to donate £5 (or multiples of this) for one entry per £5.

Alternatively if you are able to you can donate in multiples of £10, each £10 entry qualifies for 3 entries, so you get a bonus entry ticket for your generosity!

In line with UK gambling law there is also a free entry option. To enter for free you will need to send a postcard with your full name and postal address to 34 Evans way, Sawston, Cambridge, CB22 3BX. Each postcard counts as one entry. You will need to cover postage for this yourself. Postal entries must be received by midnight of the closing date to qualify.

Prizes

A full list of prizes can be found on the prize draw page. 

Most prizes are digital or can be accessed via the internet. Online prizes, such a online classes, must be used within 6 months of the prize draw ending and timings of the prize taking place need to be arranged between the winner of that prize and the prize facilitator/donator.

Those prizes which are a physical product, such as the fan covers, card pack, booty bag, hula hoop or silk, may incur a postage cost at the discretion of the individual who donated the prize, to be discussed between the winner and the donator after the draw has ended.

Two prizes take place in a physical location, one in Wimbish, Essex and one in Cambridge city centre. The winner of these prizes is responsible for transportation to and from the location of their prize at the time of the event. The block of classes at the Penny Farthing Circus Arts studio needs to be used within 6 months of winning and the ticket to the 2025 hoop extravaganza in Cambridge can only be redeemed for this specific event on 01/02/25.

Winner selection 

All qualifying entries will be counted up and assigned a number once the prize draw has ended at midnight on 29/12/24. These numbers, which will be linked to the personal details of the entrant, will then be entered into an online random number generator by Joanna Ferreday, who will then assign prizes to those numbers in the order they are listed in the description of this prize draw page.

Winner announcements and prize claiming 

Once all prizes have been allocated via random number generator a full list of winners will be announced on the Instagram profile of Joanna Ferreday aka Penny Farthing Here on 30/12/24.

Winners will be contacted via email, using the email address they provide when entering online, or for postal entries these will be contacted via the postal address they provide as part of the entry.

Winners will have 7 days to claim their prize by responding either to the email received or the postal confirmation, after this any unclaimed prizes will be reallocated via random number generator using the same process as with previous prize allocation.

Data protection and handling 

In line with data protection legislation in the UK and the GDPR, any data collected will only be used for it's intended purpose and only stored until no longer needed for this prize draw.

Joanna Ferreday aka Penny Farthing is registered as a data handler with the ICO.
