Floodlight Fundraising

Who are we?

Staplehurst Cricket and Tennis Club is a community club situated in Staplehurst. We have 2 Tennis courts and we are run by a group of volunteers who invest much of there time to help improve the club for all. We are a club open to all offering wide selection of coaching and social activities.

Why are we crowdfunding?

With the rising cost of electricity,a want to improve our environmental impact, the need for an upgrade in quality of lighting and concerns about the age and longevity of the current lights, the club needs to update our lighting from halogen to LED lights. We are now in a position that parts for our lights are unavailable and the rising costs have seen our electrical bill raise dramatically.

All funds raised will be allocated to the floodlight project

Community impact

The tennis courts are available for use by both members and non members and currently receive 200+ bookings per month and caters for 250+ players.

We are keen to keep improving our facilities to improve our impact both on the tennis and cricket club and the local commumity.

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!

4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
