Entertainment has stopped for the safety of residents in care homes. But we want to continue to keep them engaged and moving through videos.

Flash Back Theatre has been providing quality entertainment into care homes for 5 years. We work along side activity coordinators to provide the 'theatre experience' to the comfort of their living rooms. All our shows include script which allows us to talk about topics that will help those with dementia reminisce. The music within each of our shows is carefully picked so that everyone can sing along. Lastly the movements we encourage residents to follow us in are accessible from the comfort of their chair and encourages light exercise. Due to the Covid-19 situation, we have not been able to perform for care homes across the South West, but would love to help them keep entertained through this troubling time. Your help would allow us to attain the correct equipment to make high quality videos for us to send out to the homes so they can be used as many times as they like. It would allow us to create videos for special occasions like 'VE Day' and allow the homes to bring in 'live entertainment' in a safe way. Music has been scientifically proven to improve moods and our videos will not only get everyone feeling brighter, but it will encourage residents to come together and interact with each other, combating loneliness within the home.
