My Story: From Battlefield to Classroom: Training Lifesavers in Redruth & Camborne
"My name is Justyn Heath, and I'm a former soldier and crane driver, now driven by a deep personal mission. After losing my father to a heart attack, and witnessing the devastating impact of heart-related deaths within my military family, I knew I had to act. I decided to reignite my skills as a team medic and establish a training company, dedicated to empowering others with life-saving knowledge.
The loss of my father was a stark reminder of how quickly life can change, and how crucial it is to be prepared. My military background instilled in me the importance of immediate action and the power of effective first aid. Sadly, too many of my comrades have also fallen victim to heart attacks, highlighting the urgent need for widespread awareness and training.
That's why I'm launching this crowdfunder: to bring vital first aid training to five schools in Redruth and Camborne. I want to equip these students, our future generation, with the skills they need to respond confidently in emergencies, potentially saving lives within their own families and communities.
Imagine a young person, trained in CPR and basic first aid, stepping up to help a friend, family member, or even a stranger in need. They could be the difference between life and death.
The funds raised will directly support:
* Expert Instruction: Delivered by myself, drawing on my military medical experience, and other qualified instructors.
* Practical Training Materials: Including manikins, bandages, and other essential supplies.
* Nationally Recognised Certification: Giving students tangible proof of their life-saving skills.
* School Partnerships: Working closely with five local schools to integrate this training into their curriculum.
This isn't just about teaching first aid; it's about building a community of lifesavers. It's about turning my personal loss and military experience into a legacy of preparedness and resilience.
Every contribution, no matter its size, brings us closer to achieving this goal. Join me in empowering the young people of Redruth and Camborne to become heroes in their own right. Let's work together to create a safer, more prepared community. Thank you for you
