To enable young people into work and education
by Kag Advocacy in Kingston upon Thames, England, United Kingdom
KAG promotes, protects and upholds the rights and interests of vulnerable individuals by providing different projects and services to offer knowledge, advocacy, guidance and support to people who due to their health, age, disability and or circumstances are vulnerable.
KAG's First Steps to Work is a mentoring employment programme to enable 17-25 year olds not in education, employment and or training back into education and or employment to fulfil their goals.
The project consists of different workshops including interview techniques as well as one-to-one tailored support to the beneficiaries to achieve their small, medium and long term education and employment goals. This will include support with applications as well as start ups and own business goals.
The ultimate vision is for the young people to train and learn new skills to improve their employability and at the same time their quality of life and wellbeing.
