Firework Milkshake!!! - A Crowdfunder for Kindness

Aim: To raise money for Kindness Homeless Charity through a night of accessible and fun theatre!!!

Hello! My name is Daniel and I am a playwright based in Glasgow looking to raise money for a homeless charity called Kindness! I have been a volunteer with Kindness for over a year now and I wanted to raise some money for the charity through a theatre show at the end of July. Kindness as a charity provides life-saving support for the most vulnerable in Glasgow and is an indispensable piece of the city's community. Laura (the founder) and her team go out with a soup kitchen every Monday and Wednesday, as well as operating a donation centre and café in the East End and Cadder respectively. All proceeds from this event will be going to Laura and her team to help out in any way they see fit!

Firework Milkshake will be an evening of three plays performed scratch night style, with the big twist being that none of the actors know who they'll be performing with! The idea was to foster a type of theatre that is barebones in theatricality, but rich in spontaneity and accessible for all those who want to be involved or come to watch it! As a result, this event will be on a Pay-What-You-Can basis with donations able to be made through this crowd funder or physically on the night. I want this event to be open to everyone and, at the end of the day, be a good laugh with the main goal of raising money for a good cause so any donations would be appreciated and if the idea resonates with you please don't hesitate to share around and visit the Instagram page!
