Aim: 2nd Holyhead Scout Group wish to maximise the use of the Hall by installing a L1 fire alarm system aiding the support of youth development

2nd Holyhead Scout Group is part of Anglesey and Snowdonia district Area, catering for young people between the ages of 6 and 18.

Scouting in Wales provides adventurous activities and personal development opportunities for all members Personal development means promoting the physical, intellectual, social and spiritual well-being of the individual, helping them achieve their full potential. In Scouting, we believe that young people develop most when they are ‘learning by doing,’ when they are given responsibility, work in teams, take acceptable risks and think for themselves.

To maximise the use of our Hall for various activities especially overnight relating to nights away, camps during adverse weather and other various badge work. To achieve this we need to upgrade our current Fire Alarms and fit a L1 maximum life protection automated fire alarm system comprising of multiple detectors in all parts of the building, which will provide the earliest possible warning for occupants to ensure the preservation of life. We have approached an electrician to fit the system for 2 sleeping zones and have to raise £2500. Please help us out in raising this amount in helping the positive development of the youths of Holyhead.
