We are an independent team of film students and aspiring filmmakers with a passion for telling authentic, emotional stories that resonate with audiences. Our latest project, Finding Lights, is a short film that delves into the struggles of growing up with an alcoholic, suicidal parent. This film is more than just a story—it’s a reflection of the reality many people face but often feel too isolated to talk about.
Beyond exploring these deeply personal challenges, Finding Lights also opens up discussions about mental health and faith, highlighting how both can play a role in the journey toward healing. Our vision is to create a film that not only sheds light on difficult family dynamics but also offers hope to those who feel lost in their circumstances. We believe that each viewer will connect with this film in a unique way, bringing their own experiences and perspectives to the story.
We are planning to move from our current Pre-Production Phase into Production Phase in May. Building a fund that can help us create the vision we aspire towards.
The Story
What will we do with the money?
The funds we raise will go directly towards bringing this vision to life. We plan to use the money to cover essential expenses such as props, location fees, and travel costs for our cast and crew. Additionally, we hope to submit Finding Lights to film festivals, giving this story a chance to reach a broader audience and spark conversations around mental health, family, and personal growth.
Thank you for supporting this journey. Your contribution helps us not only create a film but also bring a message of hope to those who need it most.
