Background and the team!
I am an entrepreneur with a strong background in business development, management, and marketing, complemented by my experiences in fashion, events, sales, and digital marketing. This exciting project combines my passion for fashion and social networking. I am fortunate to have a committed full-stack developer on my team, who will ensure our app will be available on both Google Play and Apple, along with a highly creative and talented UX/UI designer. They have both worked tirelessly to bring my vision to life, however financial resources are running low and we just need a bit of help to fulfil this dream to complete FENG and make it a huge success!
What was the inspiration behind this idea?
The inspiration for this project came from my experiences with poorly dressed dates and the struggle to shop with friends who share similar fashion tastes. I noticed a lack of dedicated platforms for people in the fashion industry to connect—existing platforms like LinkedIn feel too generic. I wanted to fill this gap by creating a space that celebrates style and individuality in social networking, extending beyond just dating.
The problem we are trying to solve:
We aim to address fashion faux pas encountered on dates, the challenge of finding like-minded individuals for wardrobe swapping, and the need for connection within the fashion industry. Whether it's linking photographers with models, helping fashion graduates find job opportunities, or facilitating collaboration on projects, our platform seeks to unite everyone in the fashion ecosystem.
Our Goals:
First, we aim to launch the dating mode (we're currently 90% complete), followed by marketing efforts, and subsequently develop the business and friendship modes.
Who will benefit from our idea or solution?
Our platform will cater to anyone who values good style on a date and wishes to make connections through a shared love of fashion. It will also serve professionals looking for a niche platform tailored specifically to the fashion industry.
What will funding be used for:
Funding will be allocated towards launching the date mode, marketing initiatives leading up to the launch, and further development of the business and friendship modes, ensuring we complete and launch the app as soon as possible.
