Aim: To support the development of projects being created by an imaginative, intrepid group of emerging screenwriters known as The Script Press
In October 2021, we launched our writers’ room under the name The Script Press. Since then, we have completed three television pilots for TV series in the drama and comedy drama genres, an animation pilot for an ongoing youth series and a feature film. We are now developing a crime drama, comedy feature and young person's television series for terrestrial television.
We are looking to keep the momentum going on what we have already achieved and seek a further six -twelve month's funding to keep us going until our work has been commissioned.
Writing together as a team has been a thrilling and productive process, providing us with the motivation to keep creating, while providing us all with valuable feedback from each other. We have made far more progress working as a team than we have as individuals and want to keep moving forward as professionals working together, for as long as possible.
