Unlike previous year, this year that I am fortunate enough to be in a position financially where I haven't needed to ask for support in order to afford to compete at the IMMAF World's in Uzbekistan. This is in part thanks to wonderful sponsors I have but also being in a position that I am lucky enough to be able to save my own money to cover costs for this.
Instead of asking for help this year to cover my costs, I would like to ask anyone who had asked to support my journey to give to Fighting Homelessness instead. If you know much about my personal story you will know why this cause has struck home with me. Homelessness is a complicated issue, tied in with addiction, mental health issues and the need for a support system and new coping tools. I would love to use this chance to help give back to a not for profit organisation working hard to help people find a better lives for themselves and hope you'll show your support by considering donating.
I don't need the help this year, but there are people out there who really could 💖
ABOUT FIGHTING HOMELESSNESS CIC
Fighting Homelessness CIC is a not for profit organisation that uses combat sport to help overcome challenges faced by homelessness or people at risk. In using their unique programme we have helped people over come trauma, addiction, helped parents get children back, helped people into homes, into employment, stop offending/reoffending and so much more. They have a base in Cardiff and do great work across Wales already down to the help of volunteers.
In under 3 years they have become that in demand we are Wales wide with interest already in London. As well as being such a powerful new programme we also are very cost effective, running very low costs but also supporting gyms local gyms. Any donations made can and will help change lives.
