Fettercairn Public Property

Fettercairn Public Property are currently fundraising towards the refurbishment and reopening of our village hall which has been closed for 10 years. It is a sorely missed hub for community groups, clubs and societies and well as once being the social heart of the village for people of all ages. This has been a long and complicated project but we feel the end is in sight. So far we have raised over £370,000. Throughout the year we host a variety of fundraising events but want to make a big push to the wider community to help us get the hall back open. We are looking to raise £25,000 (in this financial year) towards the final phase of the work. This includes new front steps and a veranda entrance, landscaping and internal fixtures and fittings such as blinds, curtains and audio-visual equipment once we open. While this is the focus of the majority of our fundraising work, we are also responsible for the Sports Pavilion in the village park and an area of land next to the church.
