With Rishi Sunak having called a General Election for 4th July, the Green Party now have a chance to elect an MP for the new constituency of Frome and East Somerset.
Martin Dimery is well known and well loved in the area. Already a Green Party councillor on Somerset Council, he is an experienced campaigner, having secured the highest ever Green Party vote in a parliamentary by-election last year. With the new boundary changes his chances have increased, as the Green polled nearly 20% of the vote in this area in the last local elections.
But we need your help: We need funds to pay for election leaflets to go to each of the 38,600 households in the constituency and funds for social media campaigns. A donation of £100 could pay for 2,000 leaflets and even a modest donation of £10 could pay for 200. So please donate whatever you can afford and help to get Martin elected on 4th July.
