What we do
At Fermanagh Women’s Aid we provide a range of support services to women and children experiencing domestic abuse, to include:
Support in the Community/Floating Support Services
Our Floating Support team provides a range of services to women in their own home, our Safe Hands Centre or in a safe place in the community at a time that suits you.
We offer safe, confidential and non-judgemental support for you, whether you are still in your relationship or have left. You can get support if planning to leave an abusive relationship or help with safer coping strategies to stay.
Refuge Accommodation
Our refuge accommodation is a safe place for women on their own or women and their children who must leave their homes in an emergency to seek safety and support.
It is a place where women can have time and space to make decisions free from fear and pressure. You and your children will have your own Support Worker to guide you through the process of moving in and discuss your options when you are ready to move on.
Children’s and Young People’s Services
We understand the impact domestic abuse can have on children and young people and aim to provide a service to meet each of their complex and individual needs.
We meet children and young people at every age and stage of life and at many different points in their experience of domestic abuse.
Our children’s and young people’s services team provides a range of services to children and young (aged 5 to 18yrs) in their own home, our safe hands centre, their school or in a safe place in the community. We provide a range of age-appropriate specialised services, including:
We also provide:
- Personal Development Programmes
- Domestic Abuse Awareness
