We're still collecting donations
On the 30th June 2023 we'd raised £1,115 with 29 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

Help us to meet our biggest feed bill ever! We have lots of mouths to feed here at the sanctuary, and this month, we are really struggling.

On the 30th June 2023 we'd raised £1,115 with 29 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We need to raise £1036.20 by the 15th June to cover our feed bill for this month.
We are home to over 100 resident animals, all rescued from certain death, neglect or sad situations.
Hens like Zelda here, come to us when they are considered 'spent'. Just 72 weeks old, useless to the egg industry and about to be killed...
Sheep like the beautiful, blind Daisy, who despite reaching an old age as a pet was due to be sent to slaughter. Pictured here with Lucia, an orphaned lamb who was unwanted by the farming industry...
And turkeys like the gorgeous Ru Paul, who was saved from being killed for a Christmas dinner, and instead lived his short life in peace at the sanctuary...
These animals are amazing individuals. They come to us scared, often broken, but always in need of sanctuary. We help them to heal their traumas, both physical and emotional, with veterinary care, patience and respect. We help those we can to find the loving, forever homes that they deserve, and many will live out their days here with us.
We are run ENTIRELY by volunteers, funding the care of the animals through donations and the occasional grant. Our main costs are:
Absolutely everything we raise is spent carefully on the animals, and we rarely have a penny to spare.
But this month, we are really struggling.
We have just been hit with a huge feed bill, and with just £4 in our bank account, we need your help. We owe £1036.20 by the 15th of this month!
Absolutely anything you can donate would mean the world to us here.
£10 is a bag of pig food (we use one bag a day to feed our 13 pig residents)
£13.40 is a bag of sheep and goat food
£30 is a bale of hay to feed the horses, goats, sheep and bunnies
£40 is a bag of ferret food (we only use one a month for our ferret residents)
Thank you so much, from all of us here.
Your support means the world to us, and helps us to continue helping those in need.
