F*ckboy is going to the Edinburgh Fringe! We're so excited to be at the fringe for the entire festival

by Ella Bowsher in Edinburgh, United Kingdom

F*ckboy is created, written, and performed by Freddie Haberfellner

An exploration of gender dysphoria, bodily autonomy and celebrity crushes from a non-binary perspective. Frankie is on the District Line, drunk, with a pair of scissors in their coat pocket. Meanwhile, their past self is in a club struggling to find a hair tie, their future self is in therapy insisting they’re not insane, and their imaginary self is having a passionate love affair with Andrew Garfield. As these four realities come together, Frankie learns who they are and who they want to be, and ultimately decides whether or not to put those scissors to good use.

Extracts of F*ckboy have been performed at various scratch nights, including at The Golden Goose, The Old Red Lion Theatre, and The Other Palace. F*ckboy was chosen for development by No Such Thing and The Mono Box. Most recently, it was chosen for a rehearsed reading at Omnibus Theatre, as part of their Engine Room: Next Page Season, which received overwhelmingly positive feedback. At the start of this year F*ckboy had two fully staged performances at The Old Red Lion Theatre as part of FreshFest.

Any money raised will help go towards the venue costs of bringing this fantastic show to the fringe.
