During my pregnancy, I suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, a condition characterised by severe nausea, vomiting, and dehydration. It was an incredibly difficult and isolating experience that took a toll on both my physical and emotional well-being. As a result, my hair suffered greatly, and it became a constant reminder of the hardship I endured. The toll it took on my confidence was immense.
My daughter was born 3 months early. In an effort to regain control and improve my hair's condition, I made the decision to cut it all off. This period of transformation led me to discover the incredible impact of hair enhancements. Wearing wigs not only helped me feel like myself again, but it also restored my confidence and brought back a sense of joy and vitality.
Now, I'm driven to help others who are facing similar struggles. I know firsthand the emotional weight that comes with the physical toll of hyperemesis gravidarum, and I want to make a difference. That's why I'm organising this fundraiser - to provide support and access to hair enhancements for those who may be battling their own confidence issues due to hair loss or related challenges.
