Farewell Sister Sister

Just a sister, who has lost a sister, in shock, in pain and grieving. Heartbroken at the possibility of not saying final goodbyes and sending our sister off without her immediate family by her side…. Whew! My sister was the sister keeper of all keepers. Her gentle soul and resilient heart, meant the abundance in which she gave to others was astronomical. She was everyone’s help mate, a true team player, a sister to everyone she met. She is not only the definition of sisterhood in its entirety but the Divine embodiment of Sacred Sisterhood. 

Unfortunately, my sister’s sudden transition meant it was without a single member of our immediate family by her side. As you can imagine, our hearts broke a thousand times over. From what we believed to be an acute illness, to misdiagnoses, to the rapid deterioration and then sudden need for immediate heart surgery but without any time to make it there or deliberate options, my sister passed. This is why I’m asking all who can afford to support us in sending my sister off the right way, to dig deep and share this so we can achieve our goal of raising £10k. So we can ALL be by her side once more. As most of you who have ever lost someone in the UK and needed to travel back home to plan and attend the funeral, there is no such help, funding, insurance etc that covers you outside England or the EU. Tickets are at its PEAK, this time of the year. This means they start at a minimum of £1100-1300 per ticket. With cost of living, costing and funeral expenses no cheaper, it’s  financially difficult and would mean a family of 7 like us would need 8k+ just for travel. It will be just over ten years since we were all together and although we’d be gathering sooner than we planned for the tragic passing of our beloved sister, the only option that feels right is that we ALL be there to send her off. However, without support this seems highly unlikely. This is why we have decided to ask our loved ones and community for support at this devastating time. 

We appreciate every single one of you for donating, sharing, supporting and showing up for us in any and every way you have. Please understand our lack of communication and accept our deepest gratitude and bare with us as we navigate this excruciating time as a family.
