Aim: To secure Nipper's future the Huguenot Museum needs to raise £1500 by our tenth birthday 15 July 2025.
Famous family dog Nipper seeks a new home!
His owners are emigrating, so to secure Nipper's future the Huguenot Museum needs to raise £1500 by our tenth birthday 15 July 2025 before his current owners depart.
Your suggested donation £1, £5 or £10 or more will enable the Huguenot Museum to give Nipper, a Jack Russell terrier, a permanent home, where he will be loved, appreciated and photographed by generations of visitors from all over the world.
Nipper, a British dog (1884-1895) lived with the Huguenot Barraud family in Bristol, Liverpool and Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey, where he was buried 135 years ago.
His second owner Francis Barraud, an artist, painted Nipper at the gramophone recognizing his master's voice.
Over a hundred years ago, in the early days of recording, Nipper became the trademark to HMV.
