Aim: We would like to take our kids abroad for the first time with their Grandad to visit his homeland of Jamaica, as he turns 80 this year.

For years we have wanted to take our children to Jamaica to see their Grandfather's homeland and to learn more about their own heritage - something so important to understanding their identity. After loosing our Mother (kids Grandmother) less than 3 months ago, we decided that life is too short to wait to do the things you love, with the ones you love.

Dad (Grandad) turns 80 years old this Spring, and whilst he is still with us, we would love more than anything to go to Jamaica with him, so he can show us the place of his memories. In addition to this, we have not travelled outside of the U.K as a family before, as we have simply not been able to afford to since having children. This would be the holiday of a lifetime for all of us, and such a wonderful way to lift everyone's spirit's after the recent loss. 2024 was by far the most difficult year of our lives.

Your donation would help to contribute towards everything including, flights, accommodation, food and any other day to day expenses for a 2 week stay in Jamaica for our family of 5.

In a world where people rarely ask each other for support, we felt it would be both humbling and empowering to lean into our beautiful network of family and friends to help make this dream a reality for us. We would be forever grateful for your generosity in enabling us to travel and make memories that would last a lifetime.

Thank you
