General Terms

1 - This charity prize draw is organised by Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre, 3-5 Frederick Street, Hindley, Wigan, WN2 3BD with 100% of the profits being utilised to support carers in the Wigan and Leigh Borough.

How to Enter

2 - Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre is registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, charity number:1138908.

3 - Entries received after the competition closing date will not be accepted.

4 - The prize draw has a free to enter option, please see details for further information.

5 - Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre accept NO responsibility for entries that are mislaid, damaged, delayed or lost in transit for any reason, including any postal system failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction or computer, software or network errors.

6 - Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

Eligibility

7 - Our prize draw is open to everyone.

8 - All entries must be completed by an appropriate adult, over the age of 18.  

9 - There is no maximum limit on the number of entries per person.

10 - By entering, you are confirming you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize if you are successful in winning.

11 - Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre reserve the right to disqualify anyone who's conduct is in breach of the spirit of the competition.

The Draw

12 - The prize and winner will be chosen at random and will be be filmed and shared on our social media pages.  There is only 1 prize for a family ticket to watch Leigh Leopards vs St Helens on Friday 20th September 8 pm kick off.  The prize winner will receive a family e-ticket in East Stand (2 adults, 2 children) to watch Leigh Leopards in their push for the Super League play-offs at Leigh Sports Village.  DRAW TO CLOSE WEDNESDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER 2024. 

13 - The winner will be immediately notified by email or telephone using details provided at entry within working days of being chosen. 

14 - The winner will have 1 working day to claim their prize by response via email/telephone. If no response is received, the prize will be forfeited and Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre will have the right to redraw a new winner following the process outlined above.

15 - The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and there is no cash alternative on offer. Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre reserve the right to exchange the prize for something of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond their control make it necessary to do so.

16 - Any decisions made by Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre on any matters relating to the prize draw or competition are final.

17 – Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel or amend the prize draw if and where it becomes necessary to do so.

Limitations of liability

18 – As such is permitted by law, Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre will not, in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept and liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by negligence of Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Data Protection and Publicity

19 – Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and will only use your personal information in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

20 – By entering the prize draw, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used by Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.

Governing Law

21 – All Prize Draws and competitions will be governed by English law and entrants to the draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

22 – Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.
