Family Small business beginning

Aim: My aim is to overcome my physical barriers and build a small empire that will support my family and community and charity

My name is Stephanie but most people call me Steph. I'm a mam to 3 amazing children and 1 beautiful dog and wife to an amazing man. I worked hard from the day I left school and from being a teen mam right up to being married mam of 3 I worked hard to support my family and was proud of this. 

Around 3 year ago this began to change as I developed rather debilitating symptoms that went on to affect my whole life. I lost my job, I'm not allowed to drive, Ive struggled to take care of myself. My body let me down and began to attack itself. Lupus is the diagnosis. We however cannot dwell and even though it still has a massive impact on my daily life I still have work drive and passion to support my family no matter what.

To go from being more or less a fit healthy person to needing help with basic functions takes everything from you and your sense of pride is lost, however I will not allow it to take anymore from me. My goal is to set up my own business from home that allows me to work at my own pace in the comfort of my own home. My physical barriers and ailments that I like to keep to myself won't be an issue as In my own home this is who I am.

My business will include bespoke pearl jewellery pieces that customers can purchase from my website and then watch their pearls being extracted from their purchased oysters during their own dedicated TikTok video. There will be games that customers can play to win my product as well as live TikTok games. I will also be promoting and working to fundraise with chosen charities especially The national autistic society and Lupus UK by selling products that all proceeds will be donated to the respective charities. 

My youngest son is autistic and after many hours of hyper fixating on an amazing lady in America who has a similar company and TikTok said to me that I should do it and then he could do it when he's older. This was the moment new business venture was born and I will strive to help it grow the best I can everyday for Him.
