Aim: Fresh, chef-made meals for busy families—healthy, affordable, and delivered. Less stress, more time together. That’s Family Plate.

With over two decades of diverse culinary experience across land and sea, I’ve worked everywhere from high-end hotels to bustling cruise ship kitchens. My journey has taken me from cooking for royalty and dignitaries to leading large-scale catering operations for thousands — but my true passion lies in bringing real, nutritious food to everyday people who need it most.

After years working as a Chef de Partie with P&O Ferries and Hilton Boston, as well as traveling and cooking freelance in Australia, I developed a deep appreciation for the power of food — not just to nourish, but to bring dignity, relief, and connection to people’s lives. I’ve held leadership roles in both commercial kitchens and charity-based food projects, including large fundraising events and food service for vulnerable communities.

Now, I’m channelling that experience into a purpose-driven cooked meal business designed especially for working households on low incomes. My mission is simple: to eliminate the stress of daily cooking while giving families back time together around the table. For just £20 per week, I’ll provide five days of healthy, home-cooked meals made from fresh ingredients — never processed or pre-packaged.

To keep costs low and reduce waste, I’ll be working closely with local food banks and surplus food suppliers, creating a model that’s not only affordable, but sustainable and community-focused. Unlike expensive boxed meal services like Gusto or Hello Fresh, I offer fully prepared meals ready to heat and eat — meaning less time cooking, less money spent, and more time for what matters.

This is more than just a food service — it’s a movement to bring dignity, health, and hope to hardworking families who deserve better.
