Family Fun Day Entry & Raffle Ticket

Terms & Conditions

By entering the Henderson Foodservice Family Fun Day Raffle you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions.

 1.This prize draw is run by Henderson Food Service Ltd. 1 Hightown Ave, Newtownabbey BT36 4RT

 2. The prize draw is open to residents aged 18 and over. (Including employees and their families of Henderson Group Companies). 

3. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.

4. The Promotion starts at 9am on Tuesday 23rd April and closes at midday on Monday 3rd June (the Promotion Period). Any entries received outside the Promotion Period will be void. 

5. This competition can be entered via purchase of draw tickets from any representative from Henderson Foodservice, via our online fundraising page https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/family-fun-day-entry-raffle-ticket or via postal entry to Henderson Foodservice Ltd, 1 Hightown Avenue, Newtownabbey BT36 4RT

6. Participants may purchase as many entries as they wish (one ticket = one entry) per person.  Each entry is £10 - equivalent to an adult ticket entry for the fun day.  For family tickets purchased, this will equate to x 2 entries into the draw.  Child tickets will not be classified as an entry into the draw; these will serve as entries to the fun day only.

 7. Free Postal entries are restricted to one entry per person; we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage or delay in receiving these entries.

8. Postal entries must be received before Thursday 30th May.

9. Postal entries must include name of entrant, email address and contact telephone number and clearly stipulate entry into Henderson Foodservice Family Fun Day

10. The Prize Draw will take place on Monday 3rd June 2pm.

Henderson Foodservice accepts no responsibility for draw tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible, or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted. No responsibility is taken for draw tickets and payment lost, delayed, or damaged in the post and proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

 11. Any draw ticket monies received after the closing date will be treated as a donation to our charities being supported as part of the draw and the tickets will not be entered into the draw.

12. There will be one winner for each prize draw only. The winners will be selected at random from all valid entries for this Promotion received during the Promotion Period by a draw process that produces random results.  There will be no prizes for any other entrants.

Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.

The winner is responsible for paying all associated costs that are not specifically stated in any Promotional materials or these Terms and Conditions, including (where applicable) transport, accommodation, meal costs, spending money, insurance and all other incidentals.  Winners are also personally responsible for any personal or incidental expenses and any VAT, national and/or local tax liabilities incurred in claiming or using the prize. 

By participating in the Promotion, participants agree that the prize is awarded on an "as is" basis, and that neither the Henderson Foodservice nor any of its subsidiary or affiliated companies, make any guarantees, representations or warranties of any nature with respect to the prize. 

In the event that, for reasons beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to award the prize as described in these Terms and Conditions, Henderson Foodservice reserves the right to award a prize of a similar nature and an equivalent value.

13. Henderson Foodservice Ltd. reserves the right to vary, alter or terminate this promotion due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control only where circumstances make this unavoidable.

 14. Neither Henderson Foodservice Ltd or promotional parties assume any responsibility or liability for any incorrect or inaccurate entry, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the website or any combination thereof. 

Regretfully, we cannot be held liable for system failures on the website or associated platforms including but not limited to the unavailability of the vote, poll, competition or prize draw entry platform before the closing date, or for strike, lock-out, labour dispute, illness, act of God, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions, war, riot, civil commotion, accident, public health concern in relation to potential infection, epidemic or pandemic, malicious damage, fire, flood and/or storm, compliance with law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, breakdown of plant, machinery or transportation.  

Henderson Foodservice are not responsible for any loss or damage caused to you as a result of any of these occurrences. Therefore, shall not be responsible if the winner is unable to claim their prize for any time period as a result of government guidelines or restrictions resulting from COVID-19. 

No compensation will be made available in these circumstances. 

15. Neither can we be held responsible for the failure to fulfil the obligations of any third parties involved in this promotion, although we will always endeavour to minimise the effect to the participant of any such failure.

 16. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we cannot accept responsibility for loss, injury or damage arising from recipients taking a prize or offer, or attending a venue, which they do at their own risk.

 17. By taking part in the promotion, entrants are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all of these Terms and Conditions and agreed to be bound by them.

 18. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or any other social media platform. You understand that you are providing your information to Henderson Food Service Ltd and not to Facebook or Instagram.

19.Winners will be notified via the competition post on our fundraising website. All reasonable endeavours will be made to contact the winner during the specified time.  

If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, Henderson Foodservice reserves the right to re-draw another winner from the valid/correct entries that were received during the Promotion Period. 

Winners will be required to submit valid identification (Valid photographic ID – passport/driving licence) before receiving their prize. 

Henderson Foodservice reserves the right to require the participants to prove that they are eligible.  If a winner is found to be ineligible, we reserve the right to award their prize to another participant and to require the return of any prize already awarded. 

Chosen winners will be required to confirm acceptance of the applicable prize within 14 days of having been notified. If the winner has not claimed their prize by the date specified, or the winner refuses or is unable to provide an eligible postal address for receipt of their prize, Henderson Foodservice reserves the right to award the prize to another participant. 

Henderson Foodservice will aim to deliver the prize within a reasonable time and by no later than 28 days after the prize has been accepted.  Henderson Foodservice is required to either publish or make available information that indicates a valid award took place. As such, we will send the surname and county of major prize winners to anyone that contacts the us at the address given above by no later than 28 days after the end of the Promotion Period. 

If a winner objects to any or all of their surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, they should contact us at the address given above. In such circumstances, Henderson Foodservice must still provide the information and winning entry to competent authorities, including the Advertising Standard Authority, on request.

20. The decision of Henderson Foodservice Ltd is final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into.

21. Data Protection - Upon claiming this offer, the entrant agrees to supply their contact information including, but not limited to, name, phone number and address to Henderson Food Service Ltd if so required.

22. Any monies raised from this Prize Draw (excluding administration fees from fundraising website) will be equally donated to our 3 x charities: 

• NI Children’s Hospice (NIC102337)
• PIPS Charity (NIC104726 )
• Jack & Jill Foundation (CHY12405)

Henderson Foodservice reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions in its reasonable discretion. Any amendments will be published on the competition post, held on https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/family-fun-day-entry-raffle-ticket

23.These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. The courts of Northern Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any dispute or claim arising in association with the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions.

24. You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by Henderson Foodservice for the purposes of administering the prize draw and contacting you about the prize draw.
