The Causes
The Northern Ireland Children's Hospice provides a range of specialized services to support babies, children, and their families, including nursing care at home, in-patient unit breaks, end-of-life care, and bereavement support. Their multidisciplinary team offers social, emotional, and practical assistance to siblings, parents, carers, and the wider family.
PIPS Suicide Prevention Ireland Charity offers counselling and befriending support to individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts or mental health challenges, as well as assistance to families and friends affected by suicide. Their life-saving services include free, confidential counselling sessions, crisis walk-in services, and crisis telephone support during opening hours.
The Jack and Jill Children's Foundation, provides in-home nursing care and respite support for children with severe to profound cognitive delay up to the age of six. They also offer end-of-life care, regardless of diagnosis, with a team of community nurses and carers available seven days a week.
