We are a Christian organisation whose objectives and activities are to relieve need or hardship in Reading. We work in three specific areas:1. ReadiFood - acting as Reading's foodbank2. Street work - feeding rough sleepers 3. A Bed for the Night (B4N) - co-ordinating a winter night shelter with local churches

Since 1990 we have been feeding the homeless of our town.
4 nights a week and on a Sunday afternoon we give out food and drinks to about 50 people who are hungry.
We also deliver to 180 households each week food from our foodbank.
90 members shop at our community subsidised shops each week where they can choose groceries giving dignity.
During the cold winter months of Jan- March we open a night hub to take in the homeless to give a warm space, a meal, somewhere to sleep and breakfast in the morning.
