• Sketch-based and unapologetically filthy- this is a Glaswegian microcosmic explosion of kitsch and trash. Underpinned by the socio-political culture that envelops this city and the West of Scotland more broadly. No nonsense swipes, pot-shots aplenty: no face of Glasgow eludes the scope of this satire.

• At once we want to faithfully capture zeitgeist and subvert it. We seek to prove, to transmit and redefine in theatrical terms an irrepressible Glaswegian spirit and creative faculty
• The project aims to bring together people from all ages, classes and backgrounds to really proffer a modern, bracing, braw vision of Glaswegian city life, widening participation at every turn. Scottish comedy has a future and some c*** at the Sleazys said we might be in it.
• We intend to work with a range of skills and experience. The actors will range from those in professional training to those with limited to no experience whatsoever. We seek to both foster new talent and hone existing talents. Overarching aims of a motley production will be reflected in motley cast.

• We have been beset with setbacks given the COVID-19 Pandemic situation and the cancellation of the Fringe. This would have been our opportunity to share our vision and make our mark- stifled this year and throwing the project into jeopardy.
• Our work will be needed more than ever as and when lock down is slowly lifted. Our dedication to our goal of bringing together communities slowly and surely in line with what is safe cannot be understated. In short, now, more so than ever before, our work, which in many parts deals with the effects of the pandemic, will be a crucial part of reuniting not just audience communities but keeping those, albeit through zoom, communities of creative talents and performers together.

• Zoom based sketch devising and preparing to record in partnership with radio stations.
• Our team have been working on an online portfolio of sketches and will continue to devise sketches based in, on and around Scotland. This will give us a wealth of material to transmit to the stage when it is safe to do so or to begin filming sketches outside, perhaps for film and television.
• Jan-Jun 2021
• If and when theatres re-open, we will be pitching this to Glasgow performance venues to ensure this gets out there and prepare for our Fringe run.

• Any contributions will go towards securing our priorities:
• 1. Rehearsal Spaces in Glasgow for cast and crew
• -Space is needed to discuss scripts, perform scenes and devise. After lockdown is lifted, we shall endeavour to regain the creative mileage afforded by performance spaces that will allow us to hone the show for presentations as and when it is safe to do.
• We will aim to present an initial version of our performance this year if it is safe so to do. The early stages may involve online milestones and input.
• Pitches to Glasgow Theatres and the possibility of touring hinges upon success at the fringe and satisfactory presence and acclaim generated by initial performances.
• 2. A venue for next year's Fringe
• We will need to secure a venue for our run for next year's Fringe.
  
• 3. Costume, Props and Set
• Orange water noodles chief among these, enabling multiple runs 
• 4. Promotional Work 
• Advertisements, flyers- both at the festival and online will help us to disseminate this essentially Glaswegian project in trying times for social distancing.
• 5. Community Empowerment
• In line we social distancing, we will host auditions and rehearsals for voice and acting work all over Glasgow. We give particular encouragement to those without acting backgrounds. We want our participants to be drawn from a range of backgrounds, to be authentic and to help them develop acting abilities in this multifaceted creative enterprise. 
• A rough outline of expenditure is provided in our pie-chart, but any donations given will be used in line with the above. 
• To  make provisions both for disabled audience members in venues and for those   with auditory or visual impairments we will require this funding. Signage in some performances and securing a venue with accessibility for wheelchair users are priorities for which we have budgeted. 
• Statement on Financial Management and Treasurer's Report
• Funds will be deposited in a project bank account which will be administered by a treasurer with  experience of managing community funds.
• It is the role of our  appointed treasurer whose sole purpose it will be to ensure any funds spent are in accordance with the budget breakdown set as above or subject to any revision at committee level. Any reallocation of expenditure will be provided in development diary. 
• One of the creative leads of the project will also likely assume this role, one with relevant experience in budgeting for productions and with considerable experience managing student society finances. They will liaise with our committee each week with budget reports to ensure financial management is prudent and in line with our express aims.
• Our costs have been calculated on the basis of advice taken from industry professionals and on rates we have already been given. The budget includes costs we expect to meet and leaves room for error.
• Declaration: In all facets of the project, we strive to represent, empower and include where possible irrespective of race, class, gender, sexual identity, disability or nationality. Whilst we may be local in the sense of being ‘Faces of Glasgow’, we wholeheartedly opine that modern faces of Glasgow should reflect the wide variety of them and a more pluralistic diaspora. As such, we strongly uphold, equalities, diversity and inclusion. They constitute the centre of our ethos.
• Our plan for achieving this outlined in our mission statement for participants in the project. In short, we will achieve this by pooling a wide variety of experienced and growing talent from the creative sector to, for the moment online, execute a creative vision that has already attracted a great degree of interest. Tapping into social media avenues, existing networks, and acting pedigrees we will bring together a wealth of talent and experience to ensure our project can be actualised.
• The project will contribute manifoldly to both personal and participant’s development. This will be the beginning of a theatrical output for me and others involved in writing and an important step in personal artistic development. This crucial first juncture could enable future projects and ensure that our voices are heard.
• For others, it will be something to add to CV, to exchange connections and propel their own creative development and journeys too.
