A Tenant's life is uprooted when a Squatter boldly declares her living space as his own. The Exterminator explores colonisation, occupation and displacement through the pair's relationship in a microcosm of Britain, inviting audiences to reconsider the meaning of ownership and space.
An original play from playwright Kara Hardie inspired by her Cypriot roots and her passion for politics, The Exterminator was first performed in a sold out run at Antwerp Mansions, Manchester as part of the University of Manchester Drama Society. It has since been selected to represent the society at the Edinburgh Fringe this year.
