Aim: To create a safe, supportive independent living facility with integrated day services for high-functioning autistic young adults

💙 My Story

I'm a mum, a carer, business owner and now the founder of Evolve Together Autism CIC — a community project built from both love and lived experience.

My 25-year-old son is a high-functioning autistic young man. Over the years, I’ve watched him struggle to find his place in a world that doesn’t fully understand his needs. The transition into adulthood has been tough — not because of who he is, but because the right support simply doesn’t exist for people like him.

After 18 months of deep personal healing and reflection, I realised I wasn’t alone. So many families are facing the same challenges. That’s why I decided to take action.

💡 The Idea

Through Evolve Together Autism CIC, I’m creating the service I wish had existed for my son — an independent living facility with integrated day services for high-functioning autistic young adults.

It will be a place of safety, support, and growth. Somewhere young people can:

• Live with dignity and stability

• Learn essential life skills

• Take part in vocational, creative, and wellbeing-based day activities

• Feel truly understood and accepted

🌱 The Vision

My vision is to build a thriving, inclusive space in the Norwich area that empowers young autistic adults to gain confidence, independence, and community connection.

This is more than housing — it's about giving young people hope, purpose, and a sense of belonging.

• Secure and prepare a suitable property

• Adapt the space for sensory and accessibility needs

• Cover start-up costs like equipment, insurance, and legal fees

• Launch pilot day programmes while the facility is being established
