Everything Okehampton took over the responsibility for the Christmas lights when Okehampton Chamber of Trade ceased. The volunteers put up over 150 Christmas trees on all the shops and businesses through town and the lights across the main street. Unfortunately outside lights do not have an infinite life with the Okehampton weather and now some of them need replacing. The lights go up at the end of November and stay up until 12th night.
