Everything and Nothing
'Everything and Nothing' is a romance play written by me, Gabriela Godinho-Moxon. It has been my dream to take a play up to Edinburgh Fringe for years and now... I'm finally doing it because the time is right only when you make the time right, right?! Please help me to get my play up to Edinburgh by contributing any spare cash to realise this ambition, support fringe theatre and play a part in this incredible artistic opportunity.
The Dream
This project is entirely self-funded. I have been saving up to put on this show at the Fringe and I have three goals for this experience.
1. I want the opportunity to showcase this intimate piece of theatre to a larger audience and push it out to the industry. Everyone has been there - either in love, wrenched out of it, broken hearted or confused as hell. I hope there is something in this show that resonates with each audience member that comes to see it. By taking the show up to Edinburgh Fringe, I hope it will be picked up for a transfer at a theatre in London or for an national/international tour.
2. I want this show to be a jumping off point for the actors cast and that the exposure will bring them attention, leading to representation for those who require it and leading to further acting opportunities.
3. My final goal is for 'Everything and Nothing' to be the first show that this cast of actors works on as a theatre company. I want to bring together all kinds of creative people who have put their dreams on hold at one time, only to come back to them with fire in their hearts.
How the funds will be used
All the funds raised will be used to pay for the venue, rehearsal space hire, production, marketing costs, accommodation and travel. I will update this page with every major milestone of our journey, including special fundraising events you can get involved with and opportunities to learn more about the show.
