The AGT has been an invaluable part of many of our clients' rehabilitation programs. We can assist people to stand, walk and run with their body weight supported. They can move without the need for mobility equipment, carers or therapists supporting them, providing freedom of movement. On average, the AGT facilitates up to 720 sessions for clients as part of their ongoing physical therapy program. Nick is 19 years old and Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) and Acquired Brain Injury who using our current AGT:
"It is improving my ability to move forward in society, and deal with the difficulties I face, since my accident. This is facilitating many activities; helping me socialise and be part of a community. Ultimately, it's given me the resilience to study, with the aim to go to University."

Thera bikes are adapted for almost every type of disability. Cycling promotes enhanced joint and muscle mobility and improves joint stability. Exercise can be graded according to muscle tone, and it can be used to develop strength and fitness, providing effective rehabilitation outcomes, on average our Thera bikes are used 12,500 in one year.
Vince, 69-years (Bowel cancer / Pelvic Exenteration with sacrectomy, resulting in Peripheral neuropathy)
"The Thera bike is the only type of bike I can use due to my conditions, and the only way I feel can keep my legs and arms strong.”
Our charity saw a 47% increase in clients that needed our support with physical therapy in 2023, and our equipment felt this strain. Our machines are now out of warranty, and the models we have are no manufactured, so we are unable to get parts for refurbishment.
