We're still collecting donations

On the 8th November 2021 we'd raised £1,900 with 20 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

Dear friends,

The last 18 months have been a challenge for everyone, and there appears to be a few challenges yet to overcome.

Here at Evergreen, we have faced those challenges face on, and have been determined to support our older community and be a place where people can find help and support in their time of need.

What has become apparent is the impact the Covid pandemic has had on our older community. We are seeing a huge increase in the number of people who were once independent, suffering with anxiety and loss of confidence and now unable to cope alone. There is a desperate need for more quality support services to help them remain at home whilst showing them the love, dignity and respect they deserve.

But we can’t do this alone-“WE NEED YOUR HELP”

This is why we are launching The 500 campaign. We are looking for 500 people from across our community to donate a minimum of £10 a month to the ongoing work of Evergreen.

Along with this we are looking for 100 people to donate a one-off gift of £250 and 20 people who would be willing to donate a one-off gift of £1000.

All these donations will go towards the ongoing work and much needed future services of Evergreen.

So please consider becoming one of our supporters and help us to help our community,

Thank you

Peter Kot CEO

Here are just a few of the many testimonies we have received:

"Linda and I would like to thank you and your staff for the excellent care and company that you have given Janet over the past couple of years"

"Dear Cathy

It is with sadness that I am letting you know that Mum passed away yesterday. It was very sudden but peaceful and I know that Mum and Dad are again together in Jesus' arms.

Please warmly thank Ruth from all the family for all she did to support and care for Mum in so many ways. Mum was truly blessed by her kindness and really got on so well with Ruth and she enjoyed their chats and times together immensely. "

"A big thank you to you too Cathy for wonderful Evergreen."

"I would like to pass on my  thanks to all staff and carers for the kindness / caring attitudes and true professionalism shown at all times to my aunt also not forgetting how you always included me in all aspects of her care .  Thank you so much"

"I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you, to all of you, for continuing to provide your service, as seamlessly as you can, in such unprecedented circumstances. We realise it must be hellish, right now, both logistically and practically, and all of your efforts are appreciated, as always."

"I’m so grateful for the fantastic service that Evergreen provides - it’s SO different to the dreadful experience we had with my mother in law’s care agency."
