Aim: To complete the 12 day trek to the Everest Base Camp

Zoe will be hiking over 12 days to Everest Base Camp.

This challenge will see her cover 130km, the lowest altitude will be 2886m and the highest will be 5544m.

Zoe says:

This November, I’ll be embarking on an incredible journey to trek up to Everest Basecamp. An adventure that has long been on my bucket list. I’ve always loved the idea of pushing myself physically and mentally, and after deciding I want to take on a major hike each year, this felt like the perfect challenge to begin with. I’m looking forward to it even more because I will be doing it alongside a fantastic group of fellow Scousers through Adventure Code, which makes the experience even more special. As the trek approaches, I’m feeling a mixture of nerves and excitement, though definitely more excited than anything else. It’s a big undertaking, but knowing what it represents and why I’m doing it gives me even more motivation.

I’m also proud to be raising money for Happiness For All CIC, who have an incredible mission of supporting people (especially children and young adults) by helping them build emotional resilience and understand how to manage their mental health. In today’s world, where so many pressures affect young people, I believe it’s vital that they are equipped with the tools to process their emotions and navigate challenges. Having struggled with poor mental health myself in the past, this cause is close to my heart. By supporting this cause, I hope to contribute to a future where mental health support is accessible and effective for all.
