EV Charge Masters: Mobile EV Charging Service

Aim: Bringing mobile emergency & home EV charging to UK drivers and helping EV owners stay powered up, anytime, anywhere.

I’m Wayne, founder of EV Charge Masters — a business born from my own frustrating experience as an EV driver.

Not long ago, I ran out of charge in London. When I called the AA, they couldn’t charge my car on the spot, they simply didn’t have the right equipment. I waited 10 hours for a tow truck, followed by another 2.5 hours at a charging station — the entire day lost.

That experience made it clear: for all the growth in EV adoption, support services haven’t kept pace, leaving thousands of drivers vulnerable to range anxiety, long waits, and unreliable infrastructure.

That’s why I decided to launch EV Charge Masters: a mobile EV charging service that brings the power to you, at home, on the roadside - wherever you are offering a more convenient, customer-friendly solution.

It’s a simple solution with huge potential: greater convenience for drivers, stronger support for the UK’s shift to electric vehicles and a scalable business model for investors ready to back the next phase of EV growth.

The Problem

Around 33–35% of UK households (approx. 9 million homes) lack off-street parking, meaning they have no reliable home charging option.

In major cities, this figure is even higher: in London, over 50% of homes don’t have off-street parking  leaving millions of drivers underserved and reliant on public chargers.

Meanwhile, the AA reports 5–6 “out of charge” callouts every day across the UK around 2,000–2,200 incidents per year. London alone accounts for an estimated 500–600 of these despite big improvements in national charging infrastructure.

It’s clear that demand for fast, flexible EV charging is growing and many drivers need better solutions.

EV Charge Masters will provide mobile emergency roadside charging and at-home charging services — helping EV drivers stay on the move, 24/7.
